maestro 'The Beatles “Abbey Road” Limited Edition'

2237-ST-BEAT2

Description

Raymond Weil introduces maestro The Beatles "Abbey Road" limited edition - paying homage to the legendary ‘Abbey Road’,  the last album recorded by the iconic band. The black dial replicates an LP record, embellished with microgrooves and an ‘Abbey Road’ album special index at 4 o’clock. The official Beatles logo is located at the centre of the dial. Steel indices circumnavigate the dial. A date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock and the watch is equipped with a central sweep seconds hand. The RW 4200 movement proffers convenience courtesy of automatic winding. The watch is presented in stainless steel with a matching 5-rows bracelet. The case-back features a smoked sapphire crystal incorporating the official Beatles logo and a limited edition engraving. This watch provides a fitting tribute to one of the most memorable bands in the history of popular music. Limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide Housed in a 39.5mm steel case, the dial of the maestro 'The Beatles “Abbey Road” Limited Edition' is a copy of a vinyl record engraved with microgrooves.  Inspired by the iconic cover depicting The Beatles on the world famous pedestrian crossing, the outlined figures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr stride along the groove of their landmark record. RAYMOND WEIL has now been in partnership with Apple Corp for over three years now, initially launching a timepiece that celebrated the thirteen studio albums created by The Beatles between 1960 - 1970. The relationship between the world's best selling band of all time continues to go from strength to strength and as a result further special edition timepieces will follow.
Music has always been at the centre of the RAYMOND WEIL universe. Our Founder was passionate about music, especially classical and opera. This passion is used as the inspiration for the names of the Brand’s collections; nabucco and parsifal, or with musical connotations, such as maestro or jasmine. RAYMOND WEIL remains the only Swiss watch Brand that uses music throughout its entire global marketing communication strategy and is committed to supporting music at all levels; from grass roots, music related charities, right through sponsorships to some of the most recognized music arenas, award ceremonies, live music platforms and of course music artists.
Precision, quality and reliability combine to create luxury, refined and elegant watches for men and women that exceed the prerequisites of the much sought after “Swiss-made” RAYMOND WEIL label.
